severe hip pain during pregnancy?im almost 38 weeks pregnant, i know the pain is caused because baby is dropping, but the pain is only on the right side, and its very intense. im about to try a heating pad to relieve the pain. but it hurts so bad i dont think it will help. and i wanna do more walking to prepare for labor but i cant with the pain. i go to the doc tomorrow, but im sure she will just tell me what i already know.

hey hon. i totally feel your pain. when i was pregnant both times i had very severe sciatic nerve pain. my left leg would always go numb and burn and tingle, if i walked on it too much. and my hips hurt so bad, i would always have pains shooting through them. when i was in my third trimester, i felt like i was disabled. lol. i was in so much pain with my hips and legs. i wish i could give you a good answer, something that would help, but honestly all you can really do is have the baby. you will feel better once the baby is born. just try to lay around and rest as much as you can right now. try heating pads, and hot showers.
