2 Months Post Hip Resurfacing by Dr. Thomas Gross

2 Months Post Hip Resurfacing by Dr. Thomas Gross

Two months ago, I had my hip resurfaced by Dr. Thomas Gross in Columbia, SC. Here I am going up/down a set of stairs. If you have ever suffered from hip pain you know how much stairs can hurt! Before my surgery, going up a set of stairs was excruciating... Now two months post op I am zipping up and down with ease. On the way down the stairs, I actually felt a slight pain in my right knee..but that's my "normal" / "good" side! My resurfaced hip, the left side, felt 100% pain free both up and down! Being pain free is totally amazing!!!

Hip Dysplasia post surgery

This is 4 weeks after Gary had his left hip both elbows and shoulders operated on for hip dyplasia and elbow dsyplasia and I don't remember what kind of shoulder problems. Didn't fix his other hip because it is already dislocated due to malformation of the hip, so there is no bone grinding to cause pain even though it is still dysplastic. FHO on left hip. He was never able to go up and down the stairs this fast prior to his surgery. 11 months old puppy.
