Cysts ? pain in both hips?my pap came back negative for cysts
but i have had pains in both sides where my ovaries are.
for quite some time now. an the doctor felt for them when i went. but the pain is still quite random an comes every couple of weeks at least every month.
is there anyway they could have missed that ?? or is there anyway to find them other than pap smear ?? cervical cancers an cysts are in my family ?
thank you , my doctor did not seemed convinced at all
and i don't have a gyno yet!
i go to one of those family planning clinics
but im turning 21 in july so i can't go there!
she also went on to tell me apprently there are no gyno's in calgary ,alberta ( which is my city) very rude
so i thought maybe i have to go to the doctor the same TIME im having the pains ??lol

Speak with your gynecologist. You may need to have him/her schedule and ultrasound and/or a CA-125 blood test. Abnormal pelvic pain is your body trying to tell you something. Don't ignore it, and above all, don't let your doctor ignore it. Especially in light of your family history. It may be ovarian cysts and can run into problems if they rupture.
Best of luck to you.

You should see the doctor and get a check-up. Some cysts don't cause a problem though.

If you go to your GP and tell him/her they can send a request off for an Ultra-sound scan on your lower area, if they just send you away KEEP GOING AND DO THERE HEAD IN and they will send you for a scan.
I've recently done the same thing.
