back pain in late pregnancy?I will be 38 weeks wednesday, and today for the past few hours I have had really bad back pain, right around my hips to my tailbone. I took some tylenol, and it isn't even touching it. Does anyone have any idea how to relieve this?

i am 32 weeks and have been having back pain for a couple of weeks now . When you find out how to get some relief let me know . all I can say is try heat

You might want to call your doc. Some women have back labor pains. I did and thought it was just a back ache but turned out to be labor pains. Good luck!

I agree could be labor, I took a birthing class and some ladies have back labor! Call your doctor and get checked ASAP! Good luck!

Apply heat,lie down as much as you can but call the doctor as some ladies have back labor pains.AT 38 WEEKS,YOU MIGHT PREPARE TO GO TO THE LABOR WARD.GOOD LUCK!!!

All the above options are great. If you've ruled out labor, call adn make an appointment to get a prenatal massage. It's a little pricey (about $ 75 w/tip) but sooooo worth it! We deserve a treat once in a while!
