Is this severe pelvic pain normal during pregnancy?I've had severe pelvic pains when I move, basically it hurts anytime I'm not sitting with my pillow or laying with it. It's a pain that's like a shooting pain in the pelvic area with contractions occurring every ffew minutes too when I'm not sitting. I've been having Braxton Hicks pains for 2 weeks on a nightly basis, but this has been bothering me for the last 16 hours and I have no health insurance so I don't want to show up to the ER just yet. I'm 30 weeks pregnant. Any and all suggestions would be very helpful..Thank you in advance!

i'd call the doctor just to be safe but i think it's perfectly normal. im 29 weeks and i was just reading about how pelvic pain can start occuring now as the hormone relaxin is starting to spread your pelvic bones to make room for birth.

Pelvic pain is very normal when your that far along. And yes, it hurts so bad that you can barely move. It will only get worse, so hang in there.
Shooting pain around your vagina. I don't know if your talking about that, but that is normal to. If you haven't experienced it yet, I'm pretty sure you'll start to experience that real soon. It will feel like a shooting, stabbing, sharp pain around your vagina. No worrys, because that is your baby on your cervix pressing up against your nerves.
Don't worry about Braxton Hicks. If you go to the hospital with Braxton Hicks, they'll just send you back. Wait to at least see if they start getting 5 mins apart.
If this doesn't help, it's best to see the doctor. I know it's expensive, but sometimes you can't put a price on your baby.

it is very normal. you can call your doctor and ask for different exercizes that will help with the pain. also, warm baths help alot or a heating pad on low. when the pelivic bone seperates it can cause some pretty severe pain in some women. it didn't for me with my 1st or second but with my 3rd i had pain so bad that I couldn't sleep at night. if i moved my legs it would hurt so bad that I would cry some times.
