Sharp hip pain? any ideas?I have the sharpest pain inside my hip like i feel like its inside my body not on the outside! I fell at dance a month ago and went to the chiropractor and had it fixed.. do u think it is from the fall? any ideas what it is?? please? and thanks (:

Go to the doctor tell him what happened, then see what he says. You might need physical therapy.

This is very very difficult.
The reason for it is, there are SOOOO many thing that it could be. Everything from nothing, to severe. Ill list a few, most common:
Gout
Fibromyalgia
Repetitive Motion Bruising
Tendinitis
Brusitis
Fracture (hairline)
Hip Labral Tear
Psoristic Arthritis
Stress Fractures
This List Goes On and On and On and On.
So i have good news and bad news for you.
The bad news is that you wasted for money on a Chiropractor, because a Chiropractor is NOT qualified to tread ANY of these symptoms/diseases/issues.
The good news is, your not going to die :)
None of these are Life Threatening, however, you do want to act quickly so that you can get rid of the problem before it spirals out of control. At this point, you need to make an appointment to see a, well you have your choice. You can either see a General Medicine Doctor (Family Doctor), OR, a Orthopediatrist, or an Orthopedic Specialist. It depends on 2 things, Insurance, and Finances. If you have a PPO, go with the Orthopediatrist, or an Orthopedic Specialist, and if you have an HMO, go with the General, as he can then refer you to a specialist if needed. This is also my recommendation if you don't have any insurance.
On Monday, Make an appointment to see either one. You can find them in your area by searching on Google/Yahoo. Good Luck and no need to stress out.
