Its normal, your hips are growing (sad to say) making room for baby :) I have hip pain all the time, im 22 weeks pregnant. Its okay...just take some meds. and try getting into a position thats comfy for you

It sounds pretty normal. I've had the same thing, it's just because a part of your body that's normally pretty small is expanding to make room for a growing baby! One night mine got so painful that my fiancee took me to the hospital because he thought I was in labor, but it was just ligament pains. Mention it to your doctor anyways it won't hurt anything just to be sure. Tylenol could help, sleeping with an extra pillow either between your legs or under your tummy, and a hot shower/bath before bed could do wonders. Good Luck!

pillows are wonderful when u r pregnant. even if u are tiny still, place a pillow under ur belly and inbetween ur knees, it may help. also massage right in the joint and in the small of ur back can help. i am not sure what it can mean though. pregnancy is amazing but not always comfortable. good luck with everything!

I have a similar problem, but moreso in my lower back, and I'm 16 weeks. Apparently it is due in part to hormones that loosen the joints during pregnancy. Yoga helps ease the pain for me a little, otherwise maybe an ice pack might help. Either way, my condolences! I feel your pain!

This is normal. Although there isn't a lot of research on it.
One thing that I found very helpful was Pilate's and a body pillow. The Pilate's is great for strengthening and stretching the back and hip muscles.
