It happened to me a few times when I was pregnant with my daughter. (It didn't happen with my son). Everything seems normal now (I delivered 4 weeks ago).

Sounds like me. It's not every night, but it definitely happens - my husband always gets concerned. I'm not sure what that's all about... so I'm interested in other's answers as well, but I see a specialist every week, and at least everything is fine with my baby.

i havent had this (yet) but i used to be a fast pitch pitcher and my hips would pop so i had to stretch them. i would lay on myside and swing my leg over my belly and kinda stretch them and i would feel much better. i hope this helps a little bit. sorry if this wasnt what you were looking for. :(

I had major hip problems when I was pregnant. I had some problems before my pregnancy but not as bad. My hips would pop and give ot on me randomly. After talking to my mid-wife I was convinced it was normal and all part of pregnancy and my body preparing for birth. After awhile I got a second opinion and was referred to a specialist. I found out that I had a rare connective tissue disorder. Everything went fine with the pregnancy, I just had to do some physical therapy in a pool to straighten my hip muscles and take it easy. It's normal to have your muscles relax to make way for baby and your hips to hurt but I would definitely look into it more to see if there's something else going on or if you can do something to help.
