How do you temporarily relieve pain froma cyst on the hip ?My daughter recently got an MRI on her right hip because she was running track and it hurt her to run. The MRI revealed cysts. When she runs and sometimes walks it hurts her groin and the front of her hip. She is 15 years old and runs track and plays field hockey. How was this caused ? and what can I do to relieve her pain because it has gotten worse.
ps. It's been about 6 weeks since it started to hurt

You can have her try something like Ibuprofen or Tylenol to see if that is of some help for the pain, but I would recommend checking with her doctor as well to see what they say.
