I just found out I have a labral tear in my hip. Can I still exercise?I just lost some weight and I don't want to gain it back, but I also don't want to injure myself anymore. I normally just do the elliptical. Can I still do this?

do exercises that are not weight bearing especially on the hips. Do upper body exercises instead. Whatever you do you don't want to hurt yourself further or more intensely so that the injury takes longer to heal and you are out of action for even longer. Try doing arm weights and seated exercises or very low impact seated stationary cycling. Just be very careful.
