I've had excruciating hip pain for a few weeks?I'm only sixteen years old, and I've had horrible hip pain for a while.
It started about a month and a half ago, and I don't know why.
I haven't been into any accidents, I didn't sleep a wrong way, but
I walk home everyday if that matters at all.
Anyway, it's my left hip.
It hurts SO bad to walk.
I walked up the stairs and almost fell, and couldn't stop crying.
It's hard to navigate around school. My body also jerks to the
side and it looks like I'm walking with a limp.
Any ideas or suggestions? :(

sounds like maybe a pinched nerve. i'd have your mom take you to the doctor so it can be treated.

You should go to your primary care physician.
When I was 13, I was simply walking to class and my hip made a loud pop and from then on, it was extremely painful and I had to crawl around sometimes as I was unable to walk. Went to the doctor and I had severely tight ligaments (I believe this was the diagnosis). I was prescribed pain meds and told to do specific exercises everyday. I chose not to because I was young and immature and now the pain is off and on. You will want to be wise and do the exercises you are told to do otherwise you will suffer with the pain the rest of your life.
