The technique describes the treatment of the anterior rotation of the innominate ( hip bone) dysfunctions of . In the anterior rotation dysfunctions the ASIS is placed down and the PSIS is placed up, instead of being in straight line corressponding to S2. In case of anterior rotation of innominate the pain will be felt at the Sacroiliac Joint. The following are the presentations of the Sacroiliac Joint Pain. •Mechanical SIJ dysfunction usually causes a dull ache. •The pain is usually no more than a mild to moderate ache around the dimple region. •The pain may become worse and sharp whilst doing activities such as standing up from a seated position, or lifting the knee up to the chest during stair climbing. •The pain in your buttocks and low back and will often radiate to the front into the groin. •Typically the pain is felt in the low back and/or on the same side as the SIJ problem. •Noticing frequent changes in body posture to avoid prolonged stress on the SIJ and ligaments. •When SIJ dysfunction is severe, there can be referred pain into the hip, groin and occasionally the leg. •Pain can be referred from the SIJ down into the buttock or back of the thigh. •Low back pain and stiffness, often unilateral, that increases with prolonged sitting. •Pain during sexual intercourse. •Occasionally there may be referred pain into the lower limb which can be mistaken for sciatica. •Difficulty turning over in bed The therapist/clinician identifies the directional problem and puts in ...
