pain in the right hip/butt area when walking?for the past week, i have been experiencing pain in the right hip or buttocks area when i walk or move my right leg.. the pain isnt severe; i can walk, but itll start to hurt once in a while...and i dont think its sciatica... any idea what it could be, or what else it could be?

I have this EXACT same issue! I think I may be able to tell you what this is. I have the same pain you are describing and went to the doctor about it. Apparently I have bursitis in my hip. It is very painful. I CANNOT sleep on it at all during the night. It is now so bad I sleep in a recliner 95% of the time. The pain is just unbearable at times and nothing seems to take it away. I was told the only thing that will help it is to have cortizone shots in the hip. It has gotten so bad, I am going to get it done. Search the information on the internet about bursitis and you will find quite a bit of info! GOOD LUCK!
