What could cause this hip pain?

What could cause this hip pain?So about a week ago I came down with strep throat and went to see the Dr. They put me on prednizone and amoxicillin. I've been keeping up with it as im supposed to but im having some serious hip pain randomly out of no where. I didnt fall or pull a muscle, my hips just ache. Cant stretch it out or even get comfort from laying down. I dont understand. Any ideas?

its a side effect from the Prednisone:
bone/joint pain in some people severe pain as a side effect.
