What is the problem with my groin/hip flexor?

What is the problem with my groin/hip flexor?Everytime I seem to go running, my left groin/hip flexor area starts to tense up and cause me pain for whenever I lift my left leg. I am noticing now that when I lift my left leg and let it back down, there is a popping noise. Any idea what this might be? How might I fix it?

You might have a biomechanical problem in your hip joint, sacroiliac joint, or lumbar spine (or all of the above) that is creating chronic muscle strain in your hip flexors. A thorough evaluation by your family Chiropractor might be wise.

Best wishes and good luck.

Oh my gosh! I'm a xc runner, and my hip flexers do the poppy thing too! Except it happens at random times like when I move my legs to sit criss cross apple sauce (lol) or when Im sitting in a chair and move my leg to the side. It's super loud and you could hear it across the room hahaa. Anyway i have no idea what it is.
