There are scar and stretch mark removal creams on the market now that are proven to work. I don't have experience with emu oil.i think lotions and stuff with cocoa butter are supposed to help with stretch marks.Coco butter & vitamin E reduces further stretch marks, vitamin b is good for skin too local pharmacys and shopping-marts sell products made to fade stretch marks. The self tanner idea could work to conceal them or it might make them more visible I would test it on a small area first. If you can see them in the mirror with out really looking for them it's a safe bet other people can too. I encluded a link for a stretch mark fader I found when I searched yahoo, no idea if or how well it works.
