Can I join the navy after hip dislocation surgery? So I received surgery for hip dislocation. The surgeon made a incision on my thighs to treat my hip dislocation. I forgot most of the details, it already has been a year so yeaa...But anyways the main question is that I'm interested in joining the navy, is this possible?

You have to wait two years after a hip dislocation. And, when you are examined, the hip joint must be stable and have a range of motion as listed below:
Flexion to 90 degrees.
No demonstrable flexion contracture.
Extension to 10 degrees (beyond zero degrees).
Rotation of 60 degrees (internal and external combined).
The source below is the medical standard.
