I had this problem a few days ago. I called my midwife almost crying because the pain was so bad and nothing was working and I needed other ideas on what I could do.
It's more then likely round ligament pains and/or the baby sitting right on your hip bone.

Try Tylenol and warm bean bags.

have had hip problems since my first pregnancy. I have on several different occasions be rushed to the er because my hips pop out of socket, i have been put in physical therapy for it and for my last pregnancy i had to go to a medical supply store to get a special band that gives me extra support so my hips stay in place. The Dr sent me to a orthopedic surgeon and they wanted to do a double hip replacement at the age of 28 because i now only have 15% rotation in my hips. The surgeon told me this was the worse case he has ever seen.
i can only sit straight up, no legs crossed, i can no longer bend over to tie my shoes, i can no longer pedal a bike, the pain i suffer day to day is ridiculously painfull and this damage is will me for ever unless i choose the hip replacement. The farther along I get in my pregnancies the worse it gets, most days I can not get out of bed, when i do walk its with a horrible limp.
