Hip, groin, and back pain during pregnancy?I've been experiencing hip and groin pain at night and early in the morning. Also, back pain (mid to lower regions) is present throughout the day. I know that there has to be some exercise techniques that I can do to alleviate the pain.
Keep in mind that I'm 5 1/2 months pregnant and need some safe exercise suggestions.
I'm getting more and more frustrated with the entire process. Damn that Eve

Your going to feel discomfort throughout your whole pregnancy. I would call the doctor immediately just in case if there's something wrong.
Due DEC 6th with our lil girl
ive had this also and let me tell you it gets worse!! yikes! what has got me through it is stretching before i go to bed. Im not saying be a gymnast but stretching out those areas really does help. One of my fave positions is get on my hands and knees and curve my back inward then curve it out ward. I also tend to lay on my back and move one leg to the other side and then repeat with the other. Warm baths also help the tension and Ive also taken up walking 45 minutes a day. It really does help and though the pain and discomfort hasn't disappeared it has not been as bad. Congratulations on the pregnancy and soon you will have your little one to hold!
oh yah!!! i almost forgot. Try getting a maternity belt. It has done wonders in my eyes and helps take off some of the pressure during the day when you are walking!!
