29 weeks pregnant and pain in groin/hip into back?I'm 29 weeks pregnant and have had no complaints this far. Starting yesterday I have this stabbing pain in front of my Right hip bone that goes through and up my back a bit. I work in the medical field and checked the baby, she is fine, my kidney is fine. I am planning on calling the doctor this afternoon cause at some points I can barely breath it hurts so much. But I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of what this might be?? And I'm not one to complain about pain, but this is pretty bad!

i'd say maybe braxton hicks, I had some really baad braxton hicks contractions with my 2nd sending me to the hospital several times thinking that something was wrong. If nothing is wrong with the baby or ur kidney thats what iw ould say. I'd go to the doctor though just in case.

from what my gf's midwife has told her since she's 37 weeks pregnant. Around that time she had those pains too. The midwife said that those might be ligaments stretching. It's normal but maybe you should ask at your next appointment.

the same happened to me, I went to the ER, basically they said it is because of my frame. it is your body trying to make way for the baby. It is normal but if you have concerns i would still tell the doctor. only you know what you think is normal. you can never be too sure when it involves a baby.
