cause of popping hip with pain and burning sensation in hip?im 31 yr old female. ive had a popping hip for many years now im getting a burning sensation in my hip. has anyone ever had this problem with a diagnosis?

I have had it for many years...I just turned 40. And I have Osteoporosis in my hips and shoulders and TMJ in my jaws. Sometimes it will feel like my hip joint moved out of place and cause sharp pains that run down the femur. I occasionally get the burning sensation. You should get checked for Osteoporosis....you are never too young for it.

It could be femoro-acetabular impingement with a labral tear.
I just had surgery for it a month ago.

You should ask your doctor about it and ask if you can get an MRA. If he thinks nothing is wrong ask for a referal to a hip specialist.
