hip pain during pregnancy?

hip pain during pregnancy?I am 18wks pregnant and I am carrying in my hips and backside has spread alot. WHen i sit or lay on my right side and then try to get up my left hip hurts for a few minutes. I can walk it out but it hurts. It has just started in the last 2 weeks or so. Has any one else experienced this during pregnancy? I was pregnant 2 other times and never had it. I also didnt have hip problems before I was pregnant. I am only 27.

I am 6 months into my third pregnancy and I have experienced the hip pain you speak of more pronouced with each pregnancy. In pregnancy the hip joints loosen to prepare for birth and delivery (in normal situations) and this may or may not cause some hip pain. If it bothers you too much, mention it to your care provider and see what they say.
