How will pregnancy effect a tattoo on my hip bone?I'm turning 16 this year and I want to get a tattoo for my birthday. I want to get it on my hip bone and I also want to have children in the future. I wanted to know how a pregnancy would affect my tattoo.

pregnancy stretches your skin and if its on your hip then it will most likely stretch. you might want to wait it out until you have kids and get the tat on your neck or back or arm.

It may stretch a bit during the pregnancy, but it should go back to normal after having the baby/s. The only thing I would worry about is stretch marks in it, but that could technically happen anywhere between your boobs and your knees when you are pregnant, so...hope for the best.

My cousins an obgyn nurse and she said the tattoes strech and some go back down to normal and others dont.

If you get a mouse tattoo then it will look like an old sagging rat after your pregnancy! Pick a different spot when you are 18 and old enough to get a tattoo.

don't get mad but...once i was watching Miami INK and this girl's boyfriend was getting a tattoo for their dead unborn son.she said she had a tattoo on her lower back and as her belly got bigger the tattoo poisoned the baby when it stretched :(
