Post natal health - back and hip problems!!!?During pregnancy I experienced pelvic and hip pain, and found any kind of physical activity difficult during the second and third trimester, even just walking around the supermarket. I could also feel a grinding sensation at the base of my spine as I walk and especially going upstairs.
I had my baby 6 months ago, and although my mobility is gradually improving, I have noticed that my hips appearto be at different levels, my left hip is noticably higher than the right! I'm sure it's not my imagination. Should I see a doctor? What would they do? Also, what implications, if any would there be on any future pregnancies?
Have you heard of anyone having a similar problem before? Help!!!

I'd visit a chiropractor. My Mom had very similar problems with her pregnancies. It did wonders for her.

Been there done that. When I had my son 5 years ago, my hip rotated slightly. Even today I still feel pain every now and then. Talk to your dr about getting into physical therapy. You have to tighten the muscles around the joint so it hurts less and no, you arent imagining things...mine was a good 3 inches higher on one side. Physio was the only thing that helped me. Best of luck to you.
