I have a pain in my upper inner thigh that only occurs after running, any thoughts? While training for a half marathon i'd get a pain at the spot where my leg attaches to my hip/pelvis, only after i stop running / walking and sit down, or stand still for a few minutes. It wasn't horrible, just some soreness.
After the half marathon i was limping pretty bad once i cooled down, but it only lasted an hour or so.
I didn't run for a week after the half, and my first run i only did 3 miles, and once i stopped running and stood still the pain came back worse than before the half. So i took another week off, and the same thing happened.
I decided to take 2 weeks off next time, and it happened while i did a very small 2 mile hike up a hill near my house, i walked the whole way.
I can't quite figure out what it might be, any thoughts? The thing that is weird for me is that is only hurts AFTER i am active.
Thanks everyone, i appreciate any opinions given.

You probably did something to your hip flexor. I would suggest getting it checked out. If you absolutely can't, ice and stretch. Good luck!
