Hip pain: Abdominal Pain - Front, right side, above hip?

Abdominal Pain - Front, right side, above hip?Does anyone know what this could be? I don't think it's appendicitis since I don't have any of the other symptoms and the pain didn't start at the navel.

The pain starts and stops and seems to hurt the most while sitting. It also is more pronounced when breathing in.

Not that I'm a hypochondriac but I also believe I may have IBS if that has anything to do with anything.

I experienced this one day last week and have had it in the past.

Thoughts?
(1) I have an appointment this afternoon for other thing. No need to be saucy.

(2) It's closer to the hip

Yeah. My thought is, see a doctor instead of asking a bunch of anonymous people on the Internet.

Is the pain up near the rib-cage on the right? If so it could be your gallbladder. Try using a hot water bottle on the area.

If the pain persists or becomes more severe, you should see your doctor to have it checked out.

If you have signs for IBS, I think its related to that. As food passes through you intestine it could be bothering that part by your hip. I would make appointment with your doctor to make sure. I would want to know!
