Hip pain: Help to understand - Pain down left hip/back of leg down to calf...some tingling at foot. Had MRI?

Help to understand - Pain down left hip/back of leg down to calf...some tingling at foot. Had MRI?44 yr old woman, Mother of 2 teenagers Have been on Motrin (RX strength)for yrs.

Pain down left hip/back of leg down to calf...some tingling at foot. Have to stand and wait to take step due to sever pain. Feel a grinding sound in left hip/back area. Seating and walking is less pain then laying and standing. I had a Laminotomy Spring of 2003.

Had MRI - Results as written on MRI report:
1.Thoracolumbar levoscoliosis
2.L1-2 Level: Disc Bulge indents anterior thecal sac
3.L2-3 Level: Nothing wrong
4.L3-4 Level: Loss of Disc hydration with disc bulge; spondylosis and hypertrophy of the facets and ligamenta flava indenting the thecal sac producing mild central and bilateral later recess stenosis with bilateral neural foramen stenosis.
5.L4-5 Level: Loss of Disc hydration with disc bulge; spondylosis and hypertrophy of the facets and ligamenta flava indenting the thecal sac producing moderate central and bilateral later recess stenosis with bilateral neural foramen stenosis.
6.L5-S1 Level: Loss of Disc hydration. Disc bulge and spondylosis effaces ventral epidural fat. There appears to be a right paracentral herniated nucleus pulposus as seen in axial T2 image #27 narrowing right lateral recess and posteriorly displacing right S1 nerve root. Prior right laminotomy is noted in this area. Facet arthropathy narrows the bilateral neural foramina. Post contrast images demonstrates enhancement of the herniation. And hypertrophy of the facets and ligamenta flava indenting the thecal sac producing mild central and bilateral later recess stenosis with bilateral neural foramen stenosis.
7.There is a rounded, fairly well-defined lesion arising from the lateral cortex of the left kidney measuring approximately 1 cm diameter with intermediate T1 and T2 signal. This could represent a complicated cyst or possibly a solid lesion with calcification. I would recommend further evaluation with ultrasound of the kidneys attention left lateral renal cortex.

Aware that alot of this is due to age and wear and tear. Any suggests for exercise/pain relief. I don't just want to cure a symptom but the problem. Thanks.

Logic
Ummm... well you could talk to a doctor. that would be the logical thing to do.
