Hip pain: steroid injection into hip joint?

steroid injection into hip joint?im having this done for hip pain next week and im wondering if anyone has had this done and how much it hurts and if it helped with pain

never had it done but i do know it can hurt and it can possibly give you a lightheaded/fainting feeling right after it's injected. pain after any injection is always a possibility, everyone's body reacts differently. the injection you are getting is to decrease any inflammation or swelling and should help.
