im 33 weeks pregnant,hip pain and diarrhea?Im 33 weeks pregnant and i have experienced for the past two days now that i have diarrhea, very hard to get to sleep at night, uncomfortable, and my hip and legs feel so sore and stiff. I know that the baby went head down around 26-28weeks, dnt know if that is consider early or not. This is my first child so everything is something new to me. The diarrhea seems weird because i have been constipated for so long and to have a stomach ache and go to the bathroom so easy is awkward. Why is it that my hips and legs are becoming so stiff and sore. About 2 or 3 time a day i have a very sharp pain that shoots straight to my va jay jay and sometime i can stand up straight. My husband and i have started to watching the preparing you for labor and delivery video and one sign of going into labor soon is having diarrhea. IF anyone out there can help a first time mother to be with all this pregnancy stuff, i would be so very grateful.

i think you're going into early labor! the diarrhea is what's making me think this. i had the same situation, constipation then all of a sudden diarrhea. four days later my son was born! oh and btw that sharp pain you keep is your baby stretching and pressing on your cervix. i used to get that a lot also. good luck!

Your pelvis is widening to accommodate the baby. And your uterus may be contracting slightly..that produces diarrhea. If you are worried about dehydration, contact your doctor.

I've been feeling like that since I was 34 weeks.. at first I was so worried I was in preterm labor but I wasn't. I've gone another 4 weeks of dealing with it and no labor yet. The pain could be from dilating, but it doesn't mean you are going into labor soon.. you can be dilated 4 cm for weeks with out starting labor anytime soon. Sounds like you're just dealing with late pregnancy symptoms.. which are no fun..
