shoulder or hip dislocation?if someone plays a contact sport, would that person be likely to have a shoulder dislocation or a hip dislocation and why?

It can happen. I would honestly be more worried about a broken hip than a dislocation. A shoulder dislocation is quite possible depending on how you are hit and where. Hip is more likely to be broken. Either is painful, but both can be recovered from fairly easily, given time. Just don't try to pop in your shoulder yourself as you could catch a blood vessel and cut off flow to your arm. Small chance, but disastrous when it happens if you are not near an ER.
