Hip pain: Stabbing hip pain, can't move without hurting?

Stabbing hip pain, can't move without hurting?I'm 15 and I woke up on monday with a dull pain in my left hip, when I moved it felt like I'd been stabbed, over the next day the pain moved to my right hip and now it's in both hips! I've also developed a pain when I breathe at the top of my rib cage but that's not constant like my hip pain.

I can't move properly and walking is incredibly painful. I'm not sure whats wrong but my hips don't look any different. Any ideas?

go see a doctor or get one of those icy hot pads or some pain felef cream at walmart :)

Tight back muscles are causing all your pains. When the back muscles are tight in the lower back they can press onto the nerves going to the hips to cause pains in them. Depending upon which sides are tight at the time will determine which hips go into pain. The upper pain is from the muscles as well for the pains often follow the nerves around the body to become pains in the rib, chest or heart areas. Freeing up your back muscles will get rid of the pains and here's how to free them up:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
