What kind of surgeries/injuries disqualify you from the Marines Corps? Looking at OCS?From rugby I've had a hip arthroscopy for torn cartilage; non-epileptic seizure from head trauma over a year ago--neurologist said won't happen again, and shoulder dislocation 3 years ago--shoulder's range is fine just a detail. Does flat feet DQ? I run fine and heard from someone that if you have prescription for orthotics it's ok? Thanks for your time just been wondering.

Flat feet won't DQ you, they just give you better shoes when you go to Basic. The hip arthroscopy sounds like the only thing remotely close to dq'ing you and even then it doesn't sound like that big of a deal.

the hip thingy will be the most likely to DQ you with the head trauma a close second. you will need a waiver. you may o rmay not get it.. recruiting numbers are very high so they don't have to grant many at this time.
