I have on going hip pain, hip dyplasia runs in the family and is gentic.?

I have on going hip pain, hip dyplasia runs in the family and is gentic.?I was not born with it, I have pain at all times, when I work out on hard surfaces I am really sore the next day all around my hip socket in the front and in the back. I can pop my hips, when I pop them it feels like there is slipping and locking. What should I do? Thank you!

I'm not a medical professional but my sister had hip dysplasia as a baby which was treated. Now she has hip pain again. Recently she had some sort of painkiller or anti inflamatory injected into the socket I think which she said helped for a while. She thinks she'll need a hip replacement one day but thats because it's been a bad case I think. I also have had hip pain recently so am wondering if mine are a bit out so I'm going to the doctor if it gets worse - I also have lower back ache as well though. So my advice is seek advice if you're really concerned, the injection thingy might be an option for you. (I think it's done under a general anaesthetic btw)
