Ideas to Rehab Knee/Hip Sports Injury?I'm a road cyclist, and about a month ago, I started having acute pain while cycling in the ligament directly to the left of my right knee cap. After riding, I also experience pain in my hip, although strangely, I don't have both pains at once.
I don't have health insurance, so a sports therapist is really out of the question. I can't afford it. Any ideas on how I can rehab this on my own?
I'm 28, so still relatively good at bouncing back.
Also, I forgot the mention that I've stayed off my bike for about three weeks in an attempt to let my leg rest. On a diagnostic ride two days ago, the pain returned.

Check your saddle for proper height and position. You also want to spin at 70-90 rpm's in a gear that is easy. Pedaling slow and mashing on the pedals is hard on the knees. The hip pain can be from improper saddle height. A very easy 10 min warm up will reduce chances of injury.
