Leg/hip/knee pain... difficult to explain...?When I lay down, within an hour I am in horrid pain. Bringing me to tears and moaning in my sleep... (Both sides are equal)...the pressure on the hip I am laying on at the time is really bad and I find myself flipping from side to side all night. I sleep with a pillow between my knees because my knees hurt bad as well. I get shooting pains all over from my waist down. I also get stabbing sensations like needles. No rhyme or reason...no real pattern. I have Fybro, arthritis and hyper mobility syndrome. These symptoms are new within the last 6 months. Could they be symptoms of these or something else? I was diagnosed several years ago. Is it possible to develop new issues after so long? If not, what else could be causing this much pain?

Have you ever gone to see a chiropractor about this? I currently work in a chiropractic office. I have learned through my studies that many people experience pain similar to yours that is caused by a bowed spinal column, misaligned vertebra's, or even pinched nerves. I highly suggest that you visit a chiropractor that performs the Pettabon Technique. If you live near the Pittsburgh Area check out Dr. Garret Breakiron, he is renowned for his work.

I have osteoarthritis. I now have a triple foam pad on my mattress. I am heavy and have to reppositon at night but extra cushing has helped. I do better not laying completly flat also. Also time your pain med to get through night. A heat pad before bed time also helps.
