It's possibly round ligament pain. It is very common during pregnancy. It can be caused by standing up too fast, sneezing and a number of other reasons.

Pregnancy, Round Ligament Pain Causes
Round ligament pain refers to a type of pelvic pain caused by stretching of the round ligaments. This occurs more commonly on the right side of the pelvis.
Your uterus is normally the size of a pear. Thick ligaments, one of which is called the round ligament, hold your uterus in suspension within your abdomen. As the uterus grows in size and weight, these ligaments become very long and thin, stressing and tensing like rubber bands.
The ligaments pull and tug on nearby nerve fibers and sensitive structures, causing pain. The severity of pain can worry you. Although round ligament pain is uncomfortable, it is also very normal.
A ligament spasm, an involuntary contraction or cramp, usually triggers a sharp pain. These spasms are found more frequently on the right side than the left because of the normal tendency of the uterus to turn to the right.
You might awaken at night with pain after having suddenly rolled over in your sleep.

Im pretty sure you are experiencing sciatic nerve pain, its common in pregnancy. and round ligament pain stays with your stomach doesn't go down your leg. You baby is on that nerve. he/she should move!

Nerve pain.
It hit me right about 20 weeks, and only went away about 3 weeks ago. It was awful, but there's not much you can do about it.
I thought I was going to end up in a wheelchair, it was so bad. My husband had to catch me from falling a couple of times.
Giving birth will certainly resolve it, if it doesn't go away on its own at some point during the pregnancy. I think my baby shifted or dropped a bit, relieving the pressure off of the nerve.

i have it too. Same leg and all.. Weird!!
Since i've been 16weeks, i get a pins and needles type of pain shoot down my legs, which starts to tingle at the hip.
I haven't bothered to ask anybody anything cos i know that our bodies are expected to experience some changes while we're pregnant.
I wish you all the best.
