Left side abdominal pain may arise from internal organs of the gastrointestinal and urinary tract, chest, pelvic cavity, abdominal wall muscles, bones (ribs, spine, pelvis), vessels, nerves or skin.
Upper abdomen is above the navel and lower abdomen is below it.

Causes of lower left abdominal pain include:
* COLON
o Constipation
o Trapped gas in the left part of the transverse colon (splenic flexure syndrome)

o Diverticulosis - noninflamed pouches in the colonic wall
o Clostridium difficile infection after antibiotic treatment
o Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD): Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis
o Ischemic or microscopic colitis
o Colorectal polyps, or cancer
o Volvulus of sigmoid colon
* APPENDIX

With cloudy urine and smelly urine it sounds more like you might have a kidney infection. If left untreated and the infection gets into your blood steam you may end up in the hospital.
You need to increase you water intake right away to several glasses as this will help flush the kidneys.
You need to drink at least a full glass of 100% Cranberry juice about every 4 hours. (Check with your Physician if you are diabetic before drinking juice)
100% Cranberry Juice is what Kidney Specialist recommend to their patients for kidney infection and other kidney problems.. (Do not drink the kind with sugar added as the sugar just causes infection, fungus or cancer to grow) (cancer inf from MD Anderson Clinic)
Lots of water is very necessary for people that are prone to kidney infection or other kidney problems. The best way to learn to drink water is to put a container of water in the refrig and at the end of the day when it is all gone then you have met your water quota.
You could wash out the Cranberry Juice plastic bottle and fill it with water to use daily and that would give you the 64 ounces you need daily.
You could also buy 20 ounce bottles of water and drink 3 per day to get your quota.
If you don't have insurance you can always go to your local County Emergency Room where they ask for your monthly pay statement so they can either give you free treatment (usually no income or very low) or can have you pay on a monthly basis. They will not refuse you treatment if you don't have insurance.
