What is causing me to have random, excruciating pain in my balls/groin region for no obvious reason?Me and my friend were talking and eventually got stated on groin pains. For both of us, we've had occurences, out of the blue, where we get this pain that literally bowls us over in agony. It is in the groin area and, I'm guessing, probably associated with the balls. Any clues to what is happening down there?
This has happened to me since I was at least 13. And I've had physicals and prostate exams just to make sure and they've all turned out negative. It only happens about once every 5 months, very rare, and only lasts for about 10-15 seconds. If you've ever keeled over in pain in your groin area then you know what I'm talking about.

it could be bad gas.....do you work out or play sprts? It could be muscular. If it persists, go to the doctor if it is bothering you....this is not a place for serious advice such as this.

May be youre haveing Sympathy Pains with youre Friend. If I were you and it is that bad see youre Doctor and get checked out.It could be anything , did you Lift something very heavy and strain youreself, do you ride a bike and sore from the Saddle. It could be Cancer of the Testicles or even a Hernia. Get checked out dont be diddering around looking for Answers from us Idiots , and get youre friend checked as well.

My guess is it could be that you have a hernia, this is where your insides are forcing themselves out and the muscles cannot contain it. A simple day operation will fix it, they just steel sticth it and sow you back up. Shouldice Clinic is the best in the world and they are located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. You can play pool, poker or just watch the wildlife out the window, the usual stay is four days and they know what there doing because they are the best.

Much pain is from muscles below is an example of what may help (based on headaches).
Begin with a couple swigs of molasses or a couple of bananas (natural muscle relaxers) daily - magnesium (which regulates many things in the body) and potassium (a needed building block for muscles).
Drink at least 1/2 gallons of water per day. Running a body low on water is like running a car low on oil is the analogy the head of neurology at UCDavis told my husband about 10 years ago.

Now to the cause - muscles - your back, neck shoulders and head have tender spots. They are knots in the fibers of the muscles called trigger points. It makes the muscles tight which makes them press on nerves and other things causing the pain.

The cure - start with a professional massage, you will also want to go back over any place you can get to 6-12 times per session up to 6 times per day rubbing (or lightly scratching on your head) every where that is tender until the knots go away. The place where the skull connects to the spine press up under the edge of the skull (to get to those muscles).
