20 weeks, piercing pain on my right hip?Is this normal? It's not really on my hip it's a little more above the hip and also on the back. It's my first pregnancy. Sometimes it hurts but it's bearable and sometimes I could barely move because of it. I usually take Tylenol or something and it goes away for a few hours.

yeah i had the same problem.. its not a big worry its your ligament streching or something like that but it because you are also holding all that weight, but if you are still worried ask your doctor better to be sure.. good luck...

omg SAME THING happened to me then. but went away after a while- later in pregnancy. my doctor said the uterus is a pear shape, and its a stcitc nerve or something. its normal, and the babys growth and position is causing the horrible pain. so i know how u feel. tylnol didnt help one bit. what helped is i kept a small flashlight in my purse. and u can shine the light in the corner or side, just put the light right on the skin and leave it there. the baby will kick because they dont like it, and they will move, away from the light, and off that nerve. i did it in the grocery store, at church, ms donalds, looking dumb, but it kept out of pain! and it doesnt hurt anything and u dont have to take medicine.
