what causes pain in the pelvic, hip and lower back region during pregnancy, and what helps relieve it?My fiance is 25 weeks pregnant, and is a fairly active person, but now she is experiencing pain and discomfort in her pelvic, hip and lower back region. Keep in mind this is someone who walked daily and loves to walk.

Hmmm, I'm actually not too sure about this one. Later in pregnancy, when the baby flips to the head down position and then later when he or she drops, it puts pressure on those areas, but I can't see either of those things happening at only 25 weeks.

Send her to the doctor to find out.
