Hip pain: I have knee and hip pain and i am a runner, what can I do to get better asap?

I have knee and hip pain and i am a runner, what can I do to get better asap?I am a varsity long distance track and cross country runner. However, in October I hurt my left knee, it mostly hurt above my knee cap and my lower quad muscle. I took 4 months off and began running again a few weeks ago and have been going to someone who lines me up, and massages me out. I felt like I was getting a lot better, and I got the correct shoes for my pronation, (which was probably a main cause for pain before). But today I went on a crazy run, faster, longer, and harder than my other runs lately. It was 40 minutes with a lot of crazy hills and WAY faster. Now my left knee hurts really bad whenever I apply pressure to that leg, it hurts above and under the kneecap. My right knee and hips hurt as well, mostly my left knee and right hip. I have been strengthening, icing, elevating, and stretching religiously for a few weeks now. I have also been going through a MAJOR growths pert the past few months. Track starts on Saturday (5 days) and I want to be able to go. Is there anything I can do (for stretches or strengthening maybe), or do you know what may be wrong?

Also, I went to the doctors before I began running, and they didn't see much wrong because I wasn't doing much physical activity. I know a lot of you are gong to see go to your doctor, I know but I cant at the moment I am asking your opinion.

Sorry for the long message and thank you. :) :) :)
(I have considered runners knee and quadriceps tendinitis)

I have weak knees due to a car accident that took me off the roads for years. I just started again 2 yrs ago and it was frustrating. However I took a slow approach as well as I used tensor knee bandages until they strengthened up. They still are bad on cold days but thats the price I'm willing to pay to run, I just pop a couple of aspirin in and I'm good to go. Also I find having the right shoe makes a big difference. I had to try several kinds before I found the one that cushions/supports me the best.

You also have to take into account, just how much damage are you willing to go tho. When I got hit by the car I expected to bounce right in. And I couldn't. I looked at it this way, if I can't walk without pain, I can't run. I had to find other avenues to keep fit/active. Perhaps you should try a different sport to challenge yourself, one that isn't so high impact on your knees. Bc running is tuff on the knees theres no doubt about it.

Good luck!
