pain in the lower back and hip?I am a dancer and i have very flexible hips. my hips always had pain in them but the pain i am feeling now is new. i did something to it at practice to my right hip and ever since my right hip is having issues. the pain is escalating to my right lower back area right above the hip joint. my normal hip pains have always been in the hip joint itself but i have never had the pain this high on my hip area. i have been icing it and taking advil.
it sometimes hurts to walk on it but then i just bring my leg to the side and my hip joint pops/cracks so it feels somewhat better.
im pretty sure i already had tendonitis in my hips but i have no clue what this new pain is.
is it worth seeing a doctor for?

That could be a hip flexor injury. The most common symptom of a hip flexor strain is pain. It occurs along the front of the hip and may radiate down the front of your thigh. Your pain will increase with movement, especially trying to lift your knee toward your chest.
