Postpartum hip/groin pain? Anxiety?I am 2 months postpartum. I had a complicated delivery. WOULD NOT dialate; took about 24 hours for me to open up; then when I finally did I got an infection and blood pressure shot up to 157/100, but no eclampsia. After I got home, I had very bad hip/pelvic pain and radiating pain down my left leg. I got my first period around 7 weeks postpartum; very heavy but not too much cramping. The hip/leg pain went away but now it's back. I get like a sharp, stabbing pain in my left side, and it goes down my leg. What could this be? Everything looked good at my 6-week checkup according to my OBGYN. My blood pressure is also going down. It's usually around 128/85 (it used to be great; like 105/68 so that's high for me) I don't understand what this could be.I've also been experiencing a lot of anxiety; my mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer a week after I gave birth, so maybe my body never had the time it needed to rest and heal because I was back and forth to the hospital. My mom is home now and doing quite well. So, of course now I'm paranoid about her cancer and getting cancer myself. Maybe I'm mentally making the pain worse. As for the pain though, anyone else experience similar or same?
I am not in severe pain. It's more intermittent. It's more uncomfortable than anything. I don't like pain medicines and don't think this pain is severe enough to use them.

You have pinched muscles in your back causing those pains and problems. When you get pinched muscles in your back the muscles can press in on the nerves of other organs where they leave the spine. That pressure will make the other organs act up and/or go into pain, so if the ones for your ovaries are being pressed on the pressure will make the ovaries act up. You have to release those muscles in your back to get rid of the problems and here's how to do that:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and find the muscles next to your spine and firmly press on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

many ligaments are stretched and such during delivery. If as you say, you spent a lot of time going back and forth to hosptial, you likely injured yourself. You need to contact your gyn and find out what he can do about it, tho I suspect it is going to be a matter of getting enough rest to heal up.
