Has anyone had hardware removed, that was put in to repair a broken hip?I broke my hip 10 months ago. I have had pain every day since. From the tests (CT, MRI and bone scan) it appears that the plate that was put in place is too big and placed too high. The plate and the screw in the groin area are irritating the bones and muscles and causing my pain. Has anyone had this hardware removed? What was the rehab like? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
