36w5d Hip pain after hours of braxton hicks won't go away?!!!!?Had a few hrs of braxton hicks yesterday. Tightening, some cramping and back ache, few BM, pelvic/cervical pressure, and then about halfway through, my right hip by my pelvis/groin and down that inside thigh starts to hurt. Everything went away except the hip pain. I tried tylenol once to no avail, warm bath only helped until I got out. It hurts to walk, I end up limping. Sitting and laying hurts even. My left hip feels a little achy but I can handle it, but my right... I don't know if I should make an appt with my doctor so I can get referred to a chiro or if I just have to suck it up for a few more weeks until baby is here. I think my body is falling apart with this pregnancy! Any recommendations to make the pain go away? Is this just part of preparing for labor? I didn't have anything even remotely like this with my other 2. I wouldn't know pre-labor if it bit me in the butt :)
I have sciatic nerve pain from when I was 15 years old, and it causes problems in my lower back where I literally can't move until it goes away. Thankfully that comes and goes, and I've gotten used to it in the last 13 years. This is right where the front of my hip meets my pelvis and the pain radiates through my groin. The more I walk, the worse it gets and the longer it takes to calm to an ache when I sit, but it hasn't gone away in 24 hrs. It's been nonstop.

It doesn't sound like preparation for labor it just sounds like baby is smashed against a nerve in your hip; it just sounds like sciatic nerve pain to me. I had the pain you're describing while pregnant as well and also couldn't walk while having it. I remember it got so bad the week before I delivered (as baby is in head down position and pretty big now) that when it came (and it barely left the closer labor came; I had to stop walking around that much even though after the dr stripped my membranes I definitely walked! ;D) I'd almost fall over and have to grab the wall when putting pressure on that leg. Sorry to say this, I mean no offense, but I would just suck it up because you don't have that much longer until baby is here! :) As for the pelvic pressure that's just baby being in the head down/probably dropped position. I never even realized my baby dropped until the doctors told me he had LOL
