Hip pain after/during sex? Ouch! Help!?So I'm young, in great shape; I work out 4-5 times a week, but have this terrible hip pain! I get a mild case of it sometimes after jogging - but mainly it happens during sex (especially when I'm on top, which is very dissappointing because I love doing this with my boyfriend) and it's EXTREMELY painful and the pain persists for hours - sometimes even for days afterward! I have a doctors appointment in a month, but wanted to see if any fellow men/women have some pointers for a hurtin' gal? Thanks! Go sexy time! Yeah! :)

Endometriosis can cause the symptoms that you are reporting, there are other conditions that can give similar symptoms but I know more about endometriosis than others. There are positions and techniques that you can employ in your love making which reduces the penetration and so does not cause the pain. Enodometriosis can be a debilitating condition and because of the painful intercourse can put a real strain on love making as often blame goes with the pain. However, you may have an area which is inflamed and sore internally and the intercourse is aggravating that area.
There is no cure for endometriosis but nutrition has been know to work for a lot of people.

Though I'm still a virgin here. But it sounds like you are over working out. Not saying its bad to be fit, but I think you could have seriously pulled a muscle or a ligment in your hip and its not back in place. Either that or its seriously stressed and you are putting more pressure on it being on top or jogging so much. Probably have to cut back to at least 2 to 3 times a week on the working out and woman on top is a nice position but hell, get your boyfriend involved here, Heck having him lay on his back is too much of a vacation expense during sex that is killing your hip all the time. So change positions and get him more actively involved.

I know you said you were young, but it could be the same thing I have, arthritis. But you are doing the right thing by going to the doctor. I hope that it is nothing serious. But I do have the same pain, and mine is arthritis. But It could also be a strained ligament, or muscle, so make sure you keep that appt. with doctor. I would hate to give you pointers, because it may be something completely different, and what works for me, may only hurt you if it is not arthritis. Sorry I can't be of more help.
