Hip pain: Throbbing pain on left side above the hip and below the rib cage?

Throbbing pain on left side above the hip and below the rib cage?I have had this pain for a day or two now. I have no clue what it is setting off the throbbing pain, I just comes and goes as pleases itself. It was more worse at night when trying to sleep, though didn't wake me up once I fell asleep. Hurts a little when pressure of taking a dump. But pain just stays in one spot. When pain comes i become a little dizzy, hope someone has a suggestion of what this can be. Thanks A lot

sounds like flank pain, specifically in the kidney area. maybe you have kidney stones. maybe it's just growing pains either way better to err on the side of caution and seek medical help

It's in the area where your gall bladder is. You could have a stone....which in case is going to get very painful. I would have it checked out.
