uterus out of place and pregnant!!!!?well when i had my first child i started bleeding to death and this was a c-section so they kinda just floped my uterus back in but in the wrong spot it is over my left hip. Also i have ovarian cysts. i had a misscarrage in april and now i am 5 weeks pregnant. I just had a very sharp sudden pain in the upper middle abdomin. Now my first doc app is not until Aug 14 oh and I am a high risk another doctor turned me down cus of that . i have had 5 m.c and so yeah. Oh and i know i have an opening for another uterus. They doc's that i USE to see would not tell me if i actually had a second uterus or not. I of course dont see them any more. i am ust wondering could my cyst and my uterus being over my left hip and my maybe second uterus be causing me pain. and could this effect the baby or pregnancy? If anyone has ever been through any of this before i could really use your help. And if not advise works too. Thanks to all who answer and God Bless.

I'd call your current OB and ask to be seen - do they know your history? The pain could just be things shifting but I am not a doctor and the only one who can tell you is your doctor. Give 'em a call - that's what they're there for! Best of luck!

you REALLY need to go to the first doctor who did your cesarean or to that hospital and demand the operative report of the c-section. you will need it for the next doctor. you may have a bicornuate or septate uterus, easy enough to figure out with ultrasound or mri, but your op report may also have some important info. you can really put the uterus in the wrong place, you just put it back in and it goes where it goes, your doctor cannot put it over your left hip on purpose though you may have formed some scar tissue which has it stuck there now

My mother was pregnant with my brother at the time, she had 3 cysts, one the size of a baseball! They were able to do surgery and get rid of the all cysts. My brother came out happy and healthy. But it was her first child and her uterus was in the right place.
I dont quite understand the second usterus, I didnt know that was possible.
The sharp pain could be anything, even gas. If the pain is recurring than I would call your doctor or go to the ER.
Yes, this could effect the baby and pregnancy, my mothers doctor said the same thing to her because of her cysts and the operation.

You need to press to get a sonogram done ASAP. Take it easy and remember you get abdominal twinges the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. If you have a cyst they will have to monitor you with sonograms once a month. The only way to know for sure is to have a high resolution ultrasound. Fight to have a 3D / 4D then and only then will your OB have a clear picture of what they are dealing with. Worse case pay to have one done yourself if nothing else for your peace of mind and future health. Good Luck!!
