I had eight pins and 3 plates put in my hip. Should i still be in pain?At the end of May this year i had 8 pins and 3 plates put in my hip due to a car wreck. It is now December and every once in awhile (like today) it hurts to walk. I wanna call my doctor and ask for pain pills or something cause over the counter meds are doing nothing at all!! Does anybody know if this is common!!

You'll be dealing with this sort of pain for your whole life. I suggest booze and no doctors, as they will only judge you.
