Suboxone and Oxycodone?

Suboxone and Oxycodone?Okay so I'll start off telling you what I'm doing. I'm addicted to opiates, not that bad, maybe 10-30mg of oxycodone a day, I haven't had anything in 72 hours, I have withdrawls, very very very very slight withdrawls (compared to other opiate addicts). I just felt depressed and wanted a pill, not like hardcore fiending calling everyone I know, but there was a craving there. I'm 22 years old, got in a bad motorcycle accident 5 years ago, torn achillis tendon, torn labrum in my hip, shattered foot bones, heel broke in 3 places, back pain etc etc. I've had 3 surgeries because of it, I AM in pain almost constantly. Yes I am an addict so I do take them to feel good but I also take them because I have chronic pain. Why don't I get something prescribed? Long story short, if you're a young man with pain, doctors automatically assume you're just jonesing for pain killers.

I took 1 suboxone (8mg)at 5pm off my buddy who is a recovering addict, it has 100% effectively KILLED ANY withdrawl symptoms I have, but it has not done ANYTHING for my pain. I have a 30mg oxycodone left. Pretty much I want to know if I take the oxycodone around 12 - 2am (when I get ready for bed), will it effectively kill my pain, or will the buprenorphine in the suboxone still be bound to the opiate receptors in my brain?

If you do not have a straight answer, do not reply. If you are going to lecture me on the dangers of opiates, do not reply. I appreciate the help.

Ok here goes, I had an addiction to opiates myself about five years ago. I took suboxone prescribed from my doctor. SUBOXONE mixed with opiates will cause you to go INTO withdrawels worse than if you didnt have any in your system. WORD TO THE WISE if you are not that addicted and not too bad withdrawing DONT GO BACK, I ended up almost dead, in the hospital and have known over five people who died from overdoses. Jesus Christ saved my life and I pray to him to stay sober I'm married now and pregnant with my first child excited and you know what, GOd will keep you in perfect peace if you keep your mind on him ok
Fight and Youll always have a way out
but again the way suboxone works is that your not supposed to start taking it until your like two or three days off opiates cause OPIATES will cause you to get sick on it, it blocks out opiates completely, in fact its a waiste of money to use opiates on suboxon and it will stay in your system atleast 24 hours......GOOD LUCK

10-30 mg of oxy a day os hardly an addiction. you might have a slight dependence at that dose, but that is all.

8 mg's of suboxone is equal to 400 mg's of morphine. keep playing with that crap and you will find out what a real addiction is!

Yes, the sub will block the oxy, so don;t bother. And yes, sub sux for pain relief.

here's an idea. Go buy yourself a big bottle of Advil. it works just fine for pain relief and won't make you an addict.

You do realize that using opiates makes your pain worse in the long run? It does...it stop your brain from producing endorphins, and makes pain worse when you don;t have opiates to feed it.

Quit screwing around, get off the junk, and in time you will feel better.

if you still have pain, keep going to the doctors...and maybe if you quit asking for pain pills they will take you seriously.

I am an opiate addict perscribed suboxone. I would take 120 mg of oc at a time every 2 to 3 hrs. depends on how you took that suboxone... if you disolved it under your tongue you have to wait 24 hrs for the oxycoton to kill the pain. If you snorted the suboxone ... right away it should kill the pain when you take the oc. anyone who says suboxone dont work when you snort it is retarded lol at them. Drs will tell you subox will only wrk under your tongue. which is bull. Im not a shooter i just snort alot of shit.
